Media Hunt worked with Sydney-based Sammut Developments, unknown to the Gold Coast, on a brand awareness campaign to align with the launch of its $200 million debut Gold Coast project, ‘Coast’ on the Surfers Paradise beachfront.

Sammut Developments is a multi-award-winning family-owned development firm recognised as one of the leading developers of upmarket residential and commercial properties across New South Wales.

Its debut into the Gold Coast property sphere saw it arrive as a relatively unknown brand among a throng of property elite in a market that has never been more competitive.

Despite its impressive Sydney reputation, Sammut found itself facing the challenge of building a brand awareness almost from scratch.

Media Hunt was engaged to undertake a campaign for Coast, an exceptionally luxury residential tower set on a pristine beachfront parcel of land, while improving overall brand recognition of Sammut Developments.

Through Media Hunt’s extensive network of media contacts and specialised media strategy, Sammut and Coast featured nationally across prominent online and print publications including The Weekend Australian, Gold Coast Bulletin, The Australian Property Journal; and on prime-time Channel 7 and Channel 9 News Gold Coast – for two consecutive months.

The campaign incorporated a focus on Sammut’s 6-figure sponsorship of the Northcliffe SLSC to elevate the developer’s altruistic commitment to community enrichment. 

With the momentum of weeks’ worth of comprehensive media coverage behind them, Sammut went on to generate one of the most successful sales campaigns ever witnessed on the Gold Coast, amassing an incredible $100 million in sales within just three weeks of DA submission.

Media Hunt continues to work with Sammut Developments on its Coast project and has been re-engaged to make headway in the Sydney media landscape for Sammut off the back of an incredibly successful Gold Coast PR campaign.
