Coco Republic brings high-end design to $300m Halcyon Greens

Renowned national interior design company Coco Republic has entered the lifestyle community market for the first time – introducing its high end product to Halcyon’s $300 million Halcyon Greens community at Pimpama on the Gold Coast.

Coco Republic has showcased its acclaimed design work in a spectacular, fully furnished display home within the golf-course fronting Fairway Series at Halcyon Greens.

The Fairway Series offers a new standard of luxury with designs providing a modern twist on country club style, a limited bespoke home designed to capture golf course views over the Gainsborough Greens Golf Course.

Each home includes three bedrooms plus a study, three bathrooms, open-plan living, featuring three new colour schemes and extensive use of stone and timber throughout.

Coco Republic interior designer Jenny Scholten said the furniture aesthetic for Halcyon Greens takes inspiration from the world’s country clubs, combined with a resort lifestyle and is designed to allow Halcyon to continue to lead the way in the lifestyle market in South East Queensland.

“Our brief was to create a design that would reflect and enhance the Halcyon vision to meet every need of the modern senior, and we’ve been delighted with the collaboration,” said Ms Scholten.

“The Halcyon Greens display home has been enhanced with quality tanned leathers, austere metallic accents throughout and iconic linen pieces that serve to bring life and lightness to the classic scheme.

“We have specifically selected pieces that have a sturdiness in manufacture, providing comfort, support and safety to the lifestyle community market.

“We’ve included higher head and arm rests, accessible seat heights and clear thoroughfares to accommodate Halcyon Greens’ home owners.

“Coco Republic’s nod to design heritage is intrinsically woven into the fabric of the company, as well as the multitude of designs we execute with passion,” she said.

Halcyon’s partnership with Coco Republic brings an alignment of design and quality. This combination gives Baby Boomers a quality, stylish, modern home with individuality at an affordable price.

Dr Bevan Geissmann, Halcyon Joint Managing Director said Halcyon home owners were generally looking for a lifestyle change which gave them more opportunity to keep active and social, but doesn’t compromise on the quality and size of their homes.

“The Fairway series presents the perfect opportunity for the modern senior, offering beautifully designed, spacious and functional homes with great golf front views and five-star facilities to match,” Dr Geissmann said.

Dr Geissmann said the company is expecting demand to grow for the already popular Fairway series homes as they work alongside Coco Republic.

“We have released the Fairway series across several stages, and each release has secured between $6 million and $8 million in sales on the very first day of release,” said Dr Geissmann.

“We are definitely expecting to see even greater demand for the Fairway series with Coco Republic putting their touch on this stunning display home,” he said.

Brisbane couple Ross and Allison Blundell are getting ready to trade in their city life for a laidback country club lifestyle at Halcyon Greens.

The Blundells will move into their exclusive Fairway series home in early 2019, after downsizing from their large Hawthorne family home.

Mr Blundell said they immediately fell in love with the community’s extensive resort facilities and natural setting, whilst being just 40-minutes from Brisbane city.

“Our three-bedroom plus multi-purpose room home at Halcyon Greens is a smaller property than what we had previously lived in, but it’s definitely still large enough to suit our lifestyle,” he said.

“I am a keen tennis player, and am looking forward to reviving my golf game after 20-odd years out of the game,” Mr Blundell said.

“We are greenies who are very keen on sustainability and looking after the environment, which is well-catered for at Halcyon Greens.

“Our home has Hebel panelling, solar panels and the Tesla battery, so we are definitely minimising our footprint,” he said.

The Blundells also love the lock-and-leave aspect of Halcyon Greens, allowing them to head off on business trips or holidays without having to worry about maintenance or security while they are away.

The Fairway series offers a new standard of luxury with designs providing a modern twist on the country club style of home.

Each home includes three bedrooms plus a study, three bathrooms, open-plan living, featuring three new colour schemes and extensive use of stone and timber throughout.

Home owners will also be able to enjoy the panoramic views across the Gainsborough Greens Golf Club (GGGC) course.

Homes within the Fairway Series release start at $965,000 with all home owners receiving exclusive membership benefits at the recently upgraded GGGC until 2027.

Halcyon Greens is Australia’s first golf and lifestyle community located within Gainsborough Greens in Pimpama.
