Lifestyle community Halcyon Lakeside in Bli Bli is wrapping up an outstanding sales run, with just a handful of homes remaining since its launch in 2016.
Halcyon has sold more than $120 million worth of homes at the award-winning community, which was recently announced as the winner of the 2019 Urban Development Institute of Australia’s National Seniors Living award.
Halcyon joint-managing director Dr Bevan Geissmann said the strong sales had made Halcyon Lakeside the Sunshine Coast’s fastest selling community, which was backed by national industry recognition.
“It has been a fantastic run for the community, and we’ve been extremely humbled by how well-received Halcyon Lakeside has been, particularly by Sunshine Coast locals,” Dr Geissmann said.
“More than 60 percent of the homes at Halcyon Lakeside were bought by locals, which really goes to show great results can be achieved when developers and the community get behind each other.
“Creating a community that is beneficial and favourable to the surrounding region has always been one of the major priorities for us, and Halcyon Lakeside is proof of that,” he said.
Dr Geissmann said South East Queensland had proved a happy ground for the company in terms of market traction and industry recognition.
“We are delighted that our ongoing efforts to deliver the best possible lifestyle options for Australia’s over 50s has been recognised by the UDIA,” Dr Geissmann said.
“We believe the modern senior expects, demands and deserves new standards and new ways. Halcyon has responded; delivering not just a unique development but a community which provides environmental, physical, social and financial sustainability for its residents.
“Halcyon Lakeside reflects our unwavering commitment to developing communities that set a benchmark for the industry, respect the environment and surpass the high expectations of our residents.”
Halcyon Lakeside project director Chris Carley said buyers have been drawn to Halcyon Lakeside’s stunning location and outstanding lifestyle facilities.
“Homes have been snatched up very quickly by downsizers who are looking for a lifestyle change but don’t want to compromise on location, space and quality,” Mr Carley said.
“One of the exciting aspects of Halcyon Lakeside is that the community is now complete, the entire lifestyle and all the facilities are there to be enjoyed, which has been a real standout to our home owners and potential buyers.
“The remaining homes within the final stage, Elevation II, are well-priced and we expect to see the entire community sold-out over the next month,” he said.
Homes in Elevation II have no rear-neighbour, providing complete privacy, and maximised outdoor living space.
Elevation II’s exclusive additions include large covered alfresco dining areas and front verandas with signature inclusions of wide streets and lush gardens.
The remaining homes range in size from 185sqm to over 300sqm and include the exclusive RV range which provides buyers with the chance to house their caravan or RV home under the same roof.
Offering the largest homes Halcyon has delivered to date, each home comes standard with high-end luxury inclusions, quality AEG appliances, solar panels and ducted air-conditioning with prices starting from $589,000.
The final stage is a short walk to Halcyon Lakeside’s five-star lifestyle and recreational amenities, as well as ‘The Local’ café and neighbourhood park.
Home owners have access to a health and wellness centre, Gold Class-style cinema, rooftop tennis court, mineral salts resort pool, creative arts precinct, fully-equipped work shed, caravan and boat storage and six kilometres of walking trails.
Halcyon is a multi-award-winning lifestyle developer, with four completed projects on the Gold and Sunshine Coasts and three active developments currently underway – Halcyon Greens at Pimpama, Halcyon Lakeside at Bli Bli and Halcyon Glades at Caboolture.
