Innovative Gold Coast residential development leader Aniko Group has created the city’s first ‘residential business centre’ in direct response to changing work trends in the Covid era.
Aniko Group, headed by George Mastrocostas, is set to incorporate a stunning business centre into its luxury $140 million No. 1 Grant Avenue project which is under construction in Hope Island.
The in-house business centre will cater to a growing cohort of apartment dwellers now working from home in response to the Covid pandemic.
The business centre will feature a fully-equipped glass-enclosed boardroom and five spacious private offices which can be utilised by residents any time of day or night.
Aniko Group Managing Director George Mastrocostas said the creation of the expanded business centre was a direct response to the Covid pandemic.
“We went back to the drawing board when Covid hit to create a larger business centre knowing that the way people were working and running their businesses was changing rapidly,” he said.
“We believe these work spaces are going to become an extremely valuable asset to the communal facilities of residential projects moving forward and the expanded business centre has certainly been well received by our buyers.”
Mr Mastrocostas said the business centre would be incorporated into Stage 2 of No. 1 Grant Avenue, to be launched soon, following the spectacular near sell-out of Stage 1 which is now nearing completion.
“As the working environment around us was changing we knew we needed to be innovative and adaptive and create something suited to the needs of today’s buyers,” said Mr Mastrocostas.
“We wanted to design a space that allowed for a clear distinction between ‘work life’ and ‘home life’ – something often blurred when individuals work from home – and this is something our business centre uniquely offers.
“We’re proud to be the first developers to create a space such as this, tailored to the needs of our community. With working from home something likely to continue well into the future we expect to see many more developers starting to offer facilities like this too.”
The business centre adds to an array of luxury amenities on offer within No. 1 Grant Avenue which include a health club, designed by celebrity personal trainer Michelle Bridges, a children’s play facility, pet wash bay and cinematic screening room.
Peter Malady, Aniko Group’s Sales and Marketing Director, said the company is proud to be launching a project that shows great innovation through its amenities and inclusions.
“Buyers have been drawn to the unique and high-quality amenities on offer within No. 1 Grant Avenue, as well as the competitively priced apartments and great waterfront lifestyle Hope Island is renowned for,” said Mr Malady.
“Aniko Group has aimed to consider and implement everything buyers could possibly require, going above and beyond what is offered in other residential developments.
“The results of this are certainly showing through our sales which have continued to remain strong throughout Covid, especially amongst the owner-occupier market.”
No. 1 Grant Avenue offers buyers affordable, up-market, waterfront living in the heart of Hope Island.
The development is located within close proximity to a range of recreation and retail offerings including nearby golf courses and the adjacent Hope Island Market Place.
Just five of 105 apartments remain in Stage 1, priced from $445,000.
Stage 2 will include an additional 105 two, three and four-bedroom apartments to be launched later this month.
