Aston Milan builds in $1 billion Gainsborough Greens community

Boutique local builder Aston Milan Homes has unveiled the first in a pipeline of new display homes on the Gold Coast as it builds its home turf profile.Aston Milan is the first of 12 builders to open a display home in the new builders’ village at Mirvac’s $1 billion Gainsborough Greens community in Pimpama. The home is one of several planned by the company on the Gold Coast, associated with Grant Fielder and Robert Douglas, which has operated out of its head office in Southport for more than two decades.Mr Douglas said the decision to establish at Gainsborough Greens was influenced by its popularity with Aston Milan’s target market of upgrading families.“The northern end of the Gold Coast is one of the south east’s key growth corridors and it is for that reason we have established a presence at Gainsborough Greens,” he said.“It is a strategic position for us as the community is growing rapidly and the developer is only about a quarter of the way to fulfilling its masterplan of 2,200 homes.“We wanted to align ourselves with a reputable developer and Mirvac is well regarded for delivering quality communities.“Gainsborough Greens appeals to families because of its abundant green space, the affordability of land and proximity to shopping, schools, sporting and golfing amenity.”More than 60 groups have been through the home in the first two weekends since opening. The display home has a Balinese influence with a light, neutral interior and luxury furnishings by Coco Republic.“The lounge room is in the middle of the home and integrates with the kitchen, family room and dining room which wraps around an al fresco area to facilitate open indoor/outdoor living,” Mr Douglas said.“We have used large porcelain tiles, natural timbers and a lot of tropical greenery in outdoor spaces to enhance the Balinese feel of the home.”The Montrose 22 display home has four bedrooms, two bathrooms, two living areas and a two-car garage. As with all Aston Milan display homes, the Montrose 22 has clear labelling throughout to inform prospective buyers which features are standard.Aston Milan is selling house and land packages at Gainsborough Greens from about $450,000.Aston Milan has recently opened a new display at Urbex’s $300 million Capestone community at Mango Hill, on Brisbane’s north side and the first of two display homes at Brisbane popular The Rochedale Estate on Brisbane’s south side.Mr Douglas said Aston Milan had doubled the size of its team in the past 12 months, another factor in its decision to expand its footprint in the south east.“Our clients tell us they like dealing with a boutique builder who can give them assurance of the quality and build time of their home while also being flexible enough to work to their individual needs and delivering it all at a volume builder’s price,” he said.“We only take on a limited number of new homes per month to maintain that capability.”With 25 years of experience, Aston Milan targets second, third and fourth-time home buyers with flexible designs and upfront transparent pricing.
