Construction commences on $74 million Flow Residences

Commencement of construction on Australia’s best-selling beachfrontproject, the $74 million Flow Residences, has this week commenced – ushering ina new era for the iconic southern Gold Coast site, located adjacent to therenowned Snapper Rocks surf breaks.

The commencement of construction follows the demolition works on a four-levelapartment complex, ‘Rainbows End’, paving the way for the luxury new 13-level project.

Leading construction company McNab has been appointed to undertake theproject, which is set to be completed in March 2022.

The luxury project,developed by Brisbane-based developer Paul Gedoun through his S&S Projects,has been the standout performer during Covid-19 with the project achievingtotal sell-out in just four months, with an average price of approximately $3.5million.

Renowned for theworld-leading, north-facing beaches, the location of Flow has attracted a rangeof buyers from professional surfers to local downsizers, all seeking to enjoythe Gold Coast’s prized beachfront lifestyle in a new residential development.

The construction of Flow is set to create more than200 jobs for construction workers at peak times with majority of thesubcontractors and suppliers being local to the Gold Coast, according toMcNab’s Gold Coast Construction Manager, Mark Jewell.

The award-winning architect Cottee Parker, designer ofthe Queen’s Wharf in Brisbane, has designed Flow Residences with the project’sexternal façade reflecting its iconic beachfront surrounds. The landscaping workwill form part of an entry level statement that will create an enviablebeachfront oasis.
