Hutchinson Builders appointed to deliver Melbourne developer's dual Gold Coast debut

After a breakthrough debut onto Gold Coast shores, seasoned Melbourne-based developers Hirsch & Faigen are gearing up to launch a construction blitz that will see its first two prized projects rise to life in coming months.

Nationally recognised construction firm Hutchinsons Builders has been appointed to deliver the $75 million Hemingway Palm Beach and $85 million Emerson Kirra following a spree of sales across both developments.

The two projects are projected to create a total of 400 jobs across the Gold Coast during the construction phase.

“We’re delighted to have the team at Hutchies on board, given their prestige reputation for delivering the highest-class projects across not only the Gold Coast but all of Australia,” said director of Hirsch & Faigen, Daniel Faigen.

“These projects aren’t your standard class apartments, so it was important to us that we found the right builder who would execute Rothelowman’s design flawlessly, and we have every confidence that Hutchies are the perfect fit for the job.”

The developer’s inception into the coastal market suggested the company had quickly found its niche after Hemingway sold out all 78 of its apartments at 1267-1273 Gold Coast Highway within months of its launch earlier this year.

Hints of Hemingway’s distinct blush façade can already be glimpsed on sight as the sales structure prepares to make way for the 14-storey collection of 78 Hemingway apartments which are due to commence construction next month with an expected completion date of September 2023.

Success on the shores of Kirra beach was not far behind for Hirsch & Faigen, as the developer welcomed a swift uptake of its boutique ‘Emerson’ project set in the epicentre of the beachside esplanade.

The development carried Hirsch & Faigen’s formula for refined luxury into a second Rothelowman design, this time reducing density to produce an exclusive range of 27 apartments across 13 floors, boasting a rare north-facing aspect over the serene Kirra beachfront.

Construction on Emerson will commence February 2022 with completion expected for October 2023 after all but 6 apartments and the $8m penthouse have been sold out within weeks of the recent launch.

“We couldn’t have asked for a better reception to the Gold Coast market, it’s strengthened our commitment to this piping hot property pocket, and we look forward to seeking out further opportunities on its shores,” said Daniel Faigen.

“With a remarkable sales run behind us, we are looking forward to shifting into construction mode and witnessing the first glimpse of Hirsch & Faigen excellence rise out of the Gold Coast earth.”

Riding the momentum of its sensational entry to the Gold Coast, the developer is now gearing up to launch it’s third Gold Coast project in Mermaid Beach.

A DA has been submitted for ‘Yves’ which will comprise 146 luxury apartments contained in a striking 26-storey tower at 7-9 Mermaid Avenue. Sales are expected to launch in December.
