Kirra Point display apartment unveiled as interstate buyers swell

The developers of one ofthe southern Gold Coast’s most iconic new residential projects are strugglingto manage inquiry as a spectacular display apartment is completed in arenovated home overlooking the site of the Kirra Beach Hotel.

KTQ Group, theowners of the award-winning Elements of Byron resort, are set to launch the $200million, much anticipated first stage of a $380 million multi-stagedre-development of the Kirra Beach Hotel site, which is set to transform Kirrainto a world-class destination precinct.

The first of these luxury residences are beingshowcased for the first time today (Wednesday December 16), in a beautifullyconstructed display apartment ahead of the project’s official launch just afterChristmas.

Tim Keenan, of Keenan and Co which is marketingthe project, said almost 1000 inquiries had been received since the project waspublicly announced less than two months ago. More than a quarter are frominterstate prospects who have not been able to get to Queensland until now.

“The interest prior to launch has beenunbelievable. In all my years in the industry I have never seen such strong enquirylevels in one project,” said Mr Keenan.

“We are taking inspection pre-bookings now fromlocals and interstate buyers so we can manage the sales process when we launch.

“Early indications suggest we will beoversubscribed in terms of sales sometime in January, such is the strong levelof interest. It really is quite incredible and a real testament of the qualityof these residences, the well-considered design of the overall project itself andthe strength of the residential apartment market on the southern Gold Coast.

“We want to give everyone – particularlyinterstate buyers who have expressed interest – the opportunity to visit thesales display and we will manage this process carefully and dutifully headinginto the launch of what will be a new icon for Kirra and the southern beaches.”

KTQ Group, headed by Peggy Flannery, unveiled itsplans in October to launch stage one of the re-development of the Kirra Beach Hotel.

The initial stage will offer over 100 luxury residences, predominantlytargeting the strong owner occupier market. The residences will offer a mix ofone, two, three- and four-bedrooms, most of which will include a separatemulti-purpose room.

In addition tothe luxury apartments, an iconic new pub and pavilion will be created – set to becomethe beating heart of Kirra and the southern Gold Coast.

The completedproject will combine premium lifestyle elements with the relaxed ambience thispart of the coast is renowned for.

After morethan a decade spent meticulously planning this iconic new offering, KTQ isdrawing upon the same experience and dedication that saw its ground-breakingElements of Byron resort become such a stand-out success.
