Ray White Surfers Paradise Group celebrating 30 years of growth and success

Queensland’s largest multi-purpose real estate agency Ray White Surfers Paradise (RWSP) Group is celebrating a substantial milestone this month (December) entering three decades in business.Brothers and RWSP co-founders Andrew and Greg Bell have come a long way since they purchased and took over a small office in the heart of Surfers Paradise in November 1989.“We started from humble beginnings, employing only 16 staff and have now grown to a team of 220 individuals across 14 operations,” Andrew Bell, OAM said.“In this time the company has sold over 35,000 properties on the Gold Coast and generated in excess of $15 billion in sales. We’ve serviced the residential and commercial property sectors of the Gold Coast as well as offering everything from project marketing to property management.“We never dreamed our business would get to such a strong position nationally and internationally. The journey to date has been magnificent and we’re more excited than ever for the decade ahead.“The highlights are largely due to the incredible opportunities we’ve had to work with the industry’s very best salespeople. RWSP is renowned for training the best in the industry because we are dedicated to growing and developing our team members.“It’s what’s driven us to deliver outstanding results to our clients and has seen more than 63 per cent of our business come from repeat and referred clients. We’re proud of the fact that we’ve set more record sales prices on the Gold Coast than any other agency.“Greg and I still love what we do, and we are committed to continuing to grow the business for many, many years to come, continuing to evolve and continuing to be part of the fabric of this wonderful city and community.”RWSP’s award accolades are nothing short of astounding. For 27 consecutive years the agency has been recognised as the number one sales office in Queensland and of that, on 21 occasions, the number one office internationally - a great achievement considering they are competing against over 1,050 other agencies in the Ray White network.Mr Bell says that his agency’s connection to the broader Ray White network- which is the largest real estate network in Australasia - brings great benefits to both RWSP and their clients.“We’ve been extremely privileged to be able to plug into the Ray White network, which is Australasia’s largest ever real estate network, and coupled with our extensive on-the-ground resources and industry experience, this has enabled us to achieve highly desirable outcomes for our diverse portfolio of clients,” Mr Bell said.RWSP’s success has been widely recognised at countless industry awards at state, national and international levels.Among their achievements is recognition as the best business of any type on the Gold Coast, securing the Business Excellence Award in 2017.RWSP has also been named ‘Agency of the Year’ at the Real Estate Institute of Queensland Awards for Excellence, five times in Queensland and once nationally, and has also secured the Australasian Best Practices Agent of the Year Award nationally.“We are humbled and honoured by the frequent acclamation RWSP receives - it is something that we see as an encouragement award, to let us know we’re on the right track and only makes us more determined to continue to achieve great things,” said Mr Bell.“We place no limitations on ourselves and what we are capable of achieving and we are always looking for new opportunities to grow our business.”Through adopting innovation in all their work, the Bell brothers are regarded as ‘pace setters’ in the Gold Coast’s property market and have helped to shape it into what it is today - strong, competitive and resilient.“We aim to set the benchmark in all we do and provide a standard of service to our clients that all agents should strive to meet,” Mr Bell said.Managing more than 3,400 properties showcases the company’s strength with one of the largest rent rolls in the country – its property management division has been regularly recognised for its outstanding achievements.RWSP Director Greg Bell said that over their 30 years the agency has supported a wide range of charities including Muscular Dystrophy Queensland and the Surfers Paradise Surf Club.“We are proud to have raised over $5 million dollars for the charities we work with,” said Greg“As we continue to grow so too will the support we provide to these deserving charities. Giving back to the community is something very close to the heart of all those at RWSP.”Andrew Bell says a key component of RWSP’s success has been the company’s dedication, passion and enthusiasm for the industry which continues to drive the team to strive for the best results.“We’ve never taken comfort in believing things can’t be improved and we are constantly challenging ourselves to lifting our performance to the highest levels,” said Mr Bell.“The company has constantly revitalised over the years and we have a vibrant blend of experience and enthusiasm to ensure no one is better placed to manage client expectation into the future.“We have that perfect combination with the wisdom, experience and know-how from leadership who share their passion and enthusiasm with the team which embraces new technologies and business practices that make for a successful real estate office today.“Greg and I have a passion for the office and what we do, we’ve never been ones for long lunches, playing golf or extended holidays. We have a fantastic team that we work alongside with at an incredible pace and we all strive hard to keep up with it.“We are more excited than ever with our plans for the future. There’s no question in mine or Greg’s mind that the best and greatest years for the RWSP Group are the years ahead. We’re really excited for the transformation that’s underway and producing so many industry greats,” Mr Bell said.
