Wave of owner-occupiers at Villa World’s Chambers Ridge

National developer Villa World has seen a surge in owner-occupiers at Chambers Ridge in Park Ridge with more than 70 per cent of buyers choosing to call this new community home. While many other estates in the region are heavily investment focussed, Villa World’s 300-lot masterplanned community continues to attract owner-occupiers with its simplified purchase process, lifestyle and affordability.Villa World Development Director Queensland Peter Johnson said buyers benefitted from only having to sign one contract during the purchase process.“Many other estates often require two contracts, one for the land and one for the builder,” Mr Johnson said.“This means buyers then have to make progress payments with the builders and it can turn into a lengthy process, so we’ve streamlined this and made it a lot easier, rather than daunting for our buyers,” he said.Mr Johnson said the ease of purchase together with the opportunity to live in an established, yet affordable community had also added to the attraction of Chambers Ridge for owner-occupiers.“When potential buyers come to Chambers Ridge and see just how much they can get with their money they’re always pleasantly surprised,” he said.Sharie and Mason Tacon are first home buyers who recently made the move to Chambers Ridge having purchased a four-bedroom, two-bathroom home complete with a multi-purpose room which can double as a second living room.Mrs Tacon said Chambers Ridge had immediately caught the couple’s attention due to the large number of owner-occupiers within the community and its affordability.“One of my main questions when we visited the sales centre was how many investors and owner-occupiers there were in the community and knowing there were so many owner-occupiers was certainly part of our decision to buy here,” Mrs Tacon said.“Having already lived in Park Ridge we knew this area was right for us in terms of affordability. We looked at similar communities nearby but found them to be too expensive and then we discovered Chambers Ridge.“It’s been a great experience for us because Villa World have taken the hassle out of the whole process and we’re so happy with our new home,” she said.As a busy couple and first home buyers with a baby on the way, Mrs Tacon said the ease of the process from purchase to the home build was a selling point.“To know that everything was taken care of for us was a weight off our shoulders,” Mrs Tacon said.“It was great to be able to choose the land and our home, sign the contract and really see things moving quickly.“Being busy we didn’t want any extra stress. All we had to do was pick the home we wanted and the finer details were all taken care of,” she said.Having settled into their new home the couple are looking forward to welcoming the newest addition to their family and making the most of the facilities on offer within the Chambers Ridge community.Located just off Chambers Flat Road, Chambers Ridge is just minutes from Park Ridge Town Centre, Grand Plaza Shopping Centre, primary and secondary schools, Griffith University’s Logan campus and Loganlea train station. Each of the homes at Chambers Ridge feature open-plan living, covered outdoor entertaining areas, two-bathrooms, a double lock-up garages and quality finishes.Lots range from 350sqm to 602 sqm and are priced from $399,000 - $499,000.Chambers Ridge is Villa World’s third foray into the Logan City region and its unveiling follows the launch of the 726-lot Killara at Logan Reserve and 1502-lot Covella at Greenbank.
