QLD Treasurer breaks ground on riverfront Hamilton project following $290m in sales

Work has begun on the next instalment of Frasers Property Australia’s spectacular Hamilton Reach waterfront residential development with the official sod turning taking place at Riverlight.Enriching Frasers Property’s already significant offering within the emerging Northshore Hamilton precinct, Riverlight presents a collection of luxury apartments set in lush parkland and offering views to the Brisbane River and Royal Queensland Golf Club.Attending the sod turning was Queensland Treasurer Curtis Pitt MP, along with representatives from Frasers Property Australia and construction contractor Watpac.Mr Pitt said Riverlight was an exceptional residential addition to the massive transformation underway across the Northshore Hamilton precinct.“Northshore Hamilton is the largest waterfront urban renewal project in Queensland and the construction of Riverlight is yet another step forward in this precinct’s evolution into an icon of Brisbane,” he said.Hamilton Ward Councillor David McLachlan said a strong sense of community was emerging at Northshore Hamilton with the realisation of new residential developments.“Frasers Property has played a major role in the transformation of this part of Hamilton into a sought-after residential enclave,” he said.Cameron Leggatt, General Manager Residential Queensland for Frasers Property Australia said the company was delighted to see work starting on the next chapter of Hamilton Reach.“Watpac’s considerable experience in the delivery of high-calibre residential projects gives us confidence the quality of workmanship will befit the premium nature of the Riverlight stage,” he said.“We are immensely proud of the evolution of Hamilton Reach and the community that has formed over the years.
