SKY HOME ONE AT MARINA RESIDENCES SET TO BREAK TOWNSVILLE PROPERTY RECORDS
Local Townsville development company Maidment Group is set to launch the most exclusive penthouse offering ever seen in the local market.
Embracing the uber-luxury penthouse trend sweeping through Sydney, Melbourne and the lifestyle markets of the Gold Coast, Sky Home One in Marina Residences will establish a new benchmark for ultra-luxury living in North Queensland.
Priced at $7.5 million and spanning 495sqm, Sky Home One at Marina Residences is the brainchild of private local developer Maidment Group which has taken advantage of the region’s positive comparative price points to create residences without peer in the north.
Sky Home One will feature five bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, four-car accommodations, and four separate living areas, including a private guest suite with an ensuite bathroom.
High-end specifications include a fully integrated Gaggenau appliance suite with a full-height wine fridge, a premium home entertainment system with QLED TVs and a Sonos sound system, and custom-designed window treatments throughout.
“Sky Home One is part of what we see as a landmark development that represents a significant step forward for luxury living in Townsville,” said Glen Maidment, Managing Director of Maidment Group.
“We have designed this residence to cater to discerning buyers who appreciate the highest level of detail, from premium finishes to spacious, thoughtfully designer interiors that embrace the stunning waterfront location.
“We have drawn from the success of the southern lifestyle markets that have tapped into an affluent downsizer market seeking the best in uber-luxury apartment living that maximises lifestyle and water views.
“Townsville’s market is evolving, and we are creating residences that accommodate the increasing appetite for high-end properties that match the lifestyle aspirations of our buyers.
Comprising 18 residences, Marina Residences has already achieved an impressive 50% sales, reinforcing the strong demand for premium apartments in Townsville. The project is one of the first for more than a decade in Townsville which is experiencing an economic resurgence.
Designed by Brisbane-based architects Bureau Proberts, Marina Residences is located on the last remaining site at the tip of Mariners Peninsula off The Strand.
“In my decades in the industry, I have never seen an offering like Sky Home One in North Queensland,” said Bruce Goddard, Director of Place Projects who is marketing the project.
“This residence stands in a league of its own, delivering a level of luxury, size, and design sophistication that is truly unmatched.
“Buyers looking for an exceptional lifestyle opportunity will find nothing else that compares in this region.
“We are seeing a new wave of buyers who recognise Townsville as a premier destination, and Sky Home One offers them a rare opportunity to secure a home that competes with the best in the country.”
Townsville’s current residential property sales record at $6 million, a figure Sky Home One is expected to surpass, further positioning Marina Residences as the premier waterfront address in the region.
Marina Residences has already garnered industry recognition, securing two UDIA Queensland Awards for Excellence in Boutique Development and Regional Project of the Year, highlighting its architectural and market significance.
Construction on Marina Residences Apartments is scheduled to commence in early 2025, with completion anticipated for late 2026.
