Acclaimed Australian Artist Unveils Masterpiece, Illuminating the Southern Gold Coast

Australia's southern Gold Coast now boasts a stunning addition to its skyline: an integrated artwork by acclaimed artist Lindy Lee, unveiled at S&S Projects' Awaken Residences. This $1.3 million masterpiece illuminates Rainbow Bay's Point Danger peninsula, capturing the essence of the local lifestyle with international flair.

Lee's dynamic creation, influenced by Australian culture and her ancestral heritage, breathes life into the community. It can be lit up in various colors, aligning with events like State of Origin matches and Pride Week celebrations.

“I’m thrilled to finally see this artwork come to life and I truly believe that this is going to become a jewel in the crown for Rainbow Bay and an attraction for locals and tourists visiting the area,” said Ms Lee.

Paul Gedoun, S&S Projects' Managing Director, emphasizes the artwork's significance in enriching the community. Awaken Residences goes beyond art, offering two exceptional dining venues: Pipi’s Restaurant, with Mediterranean-inspired dishes and an extensive wine list, and Awaken Café, serving health-conscious breakfast and lunch options.

“We wanted to create something remarkable on this site, with a work of art that aligns with the key elements of the relaxed Rainbow Bay lifestyle – the sun, sea and surf, whilst reflecting on the area’s history and geographical significance,” said Mr Gedoun.

Awaken Residences, the second installment in S&S Projects' luxury trilogy, redefines Gold Coast living with its panoramic ocean views and upscale amenities. As Rainbow Bay embraces Lee's artwork and the culinary delights of Awaken, it solidifies its position as a vibrant cultural hub on Australia's eastern seaboard.
