Bastion launches The Residences, heralding the next chapter in Chevron Island’s luxury renaissance

Bastion Group has unveiled The Residences - an exclusive collection of just three ultra-luxury homes within the grounds of the $184 million Nera development, marking the next chapter in Chevron Island's transformation into one of the Gold Coast's most coveted residential destinations.

Offering a rare combination of complete privacy and resort-style living, The Residences will deliver the independence of a standalone home with full access to Nera's premium amenities.

Developed, built and managed entirely in-house by Bastion Group, The Residences will reflect the company's fully integrated approach to luxury development.

Located at 33–35 Burra Street, each residence will feature an expansive four-bedroom layout and extend the vision of Nera while offering the scale, privacy and permanence of a freestanding home.

Designed by Studio Snell, the architecture is defined by clarity, proportion and restraint, prioritising timeless design over passing trends.

A defining feature of each residence will be its private rooftop sanctuary, accessed via an internal lift and designed as an elevated entertaining destination. Complete with a bar, dining area, fire pit, plunge pool and powder room, the rooftop creates a seamless indoor-outdoor environment suited to both intimate gatherings and large-scale entertaining.

The homes will be surrounded by cascading landscapes designed by internationally renowned landscape architect Jamie Durie, creating a harmonious relationship between architecture and nature.

At the centre of the collection will be a private landscaped garden, also designed by Durie, which each residence overlooks and can access directly. Lush, structured planting enhances privacy while softening the architectural form.

Inside, every residence is anchored by a bespoke kitchen conceived in collaboration with Michelin-starred chef Shaun Rankin and appointed with premium Gaggenau appliances.

The Residences form part of Bastion Limited Edition, an exclusive collection of premium residences, including the Nera Sky Homes, Sub Penthouses and Penthouse, each with custom joinery, richly layered materials and meticulously crafted detailing throughout.

Residents will also enjoy exclusive access to Nera's resort-style amenities, including a rooftop wellness retreat, infinity pool with panoramic ocean views, luxury spa and ice bath, fire pit and a state-of-the-art fitness centre designed by EMF.
